LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) This lecture will focus on Diagnostic dilemma in imaging of pregnant patients with suspected Pulmonary Embolism with different modalities such as CT, MRI and nuclear medicine focusing on the relative advantages and disadvantages of available diagnostic techniques. The discussion will address both diagnostic accuracy of different modalities in conjunction with radiation aspects pertinent to mother and fetus and will lead to proposed evaluation Algorithm.
