This presentation addresses optimization of CT, MRI, and PET imaging for radiation therapy treatment planning, and their incorporation in the planning process. Discussion includes capabilities of current imaging devices, site specific scan protocols, and incorporation of this data in the planning process. Following the presentation, the audience should be able to describe advantages and limitations of individual imaging modalities and how their use can be optimized for radiation therapy treatment planning.
