LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) To know the current indications, limitations and results of uterine fibroid embolization. 2) To know the indications and results of minimally-invasive surgery such as hysteroscopic resection, laparoscopic procedures with or without robotics. 3) To learn about current indications and results of high-intensity focused ultrasound to treat uterine fibroids. 4) To be familiar with emerging technologies to treat uterine fibroids such as radiofrequency or laser ablation, and transvaginal clamping of the uterine arteries. 5) To know the latest hormonal protocols to symptomatic uterine fibroids.
