1) To detail the barriers to and incentives for the development of new breast cancer screening technologies. 2) To explain the role played by research in the acceptance and diffusion of new breast cancer screening technologies. 3) To describe how the interactions of provider and patient desires, as well as regulatory and reimbursement decisions, interact to influence the adoption of breast cancer screening innovations.
