LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Discuss the indications and state-of-the-art techniques for CT imaging of non-traumatic abdominal emergencies in children. 2. Identify the spectrum of non-traumatic pathology that can present as an acute abdomen in children. 3. Describe the imaging features that are helpful in identifying and characterizing the etiology of the acute abdomen in children.
