TEACHING POINTS

To analyze the current functional imaging techniques available (18FDG PET/CT, CT perfusion and DWI and DCE-MRI) for the evaluation of pleural diseases, with a focus in their correct acquisition and post-processing. To review the clinical applications of these techniques, for the evaluation of malignant pleural diseases and its mimics.
