The purpose of this article is:
- To demonstrate the usefulness of whole-body MR imaging in patients with autoimmune and inflammatory systemic disorders, as chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO), inflammatory miophaties, spondyloarthritis, helping the diagnosis, specially in multifocal and non symptomatic disease.
- To describe imaging protocols, interpretation of imaging findings and initial experience with whole-body MR imaging in the evaluation of some rheumatic diseases. Also, the correlation with disease activity and some differential diagnosis will be discussed.
A. To illustate the usefulness whole-body MR imaging in patients with autoimmune and inflammatory systemic disorders
B. To correlate whole-body MR imaging and clinical findings, predicting disease activity.
