The purpose of this exhibit is:
1. To review the clinical issues about benign tumors and tumor-like lesions of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.
2. To demonstrate characteristic imaging findings on CT, MRI, PET-CT and angiography.
3. To highlight imaging findings that otolaryngologists want to know before the endoscopic nasal surgery.
This exhibit includes six benign tumors (papilloma, pleomorphic adenoma, schwannoma, juvenile angiofibroma, ossifying fibroma and lobular capillary hemangioma) and two tumor-like lesions (invasive fungal sinusitis and organized hematoma).
1. Summary of clinical presentation, demographics, natural history and prognosis
2. Characteristic findings of diagnostic imaging with pathologic correlation
3. Key points of practical preoperative imaging assessments for the endoscopic nasal surgery by otolaryngologist.
4. Role of follow up imaging after surgery
