TEACHING POINTS

Pulmonary toxicity of many established drugs have been described in the literature along with their imaging appearances (like amiodarone, busulfun, lidocaine etc). However, we have encountered changes with several newer drugs (bortezomib, cimzia, voriconazole, remicaide etc.), which are not well described. These changes are very important to understand for proper patient care. Aim of our exhibit is to present examples of pulmonary changes related to some of the newer drugs and their pathophysiologic mechanism. This review will help radiologists understand these changes and keep them in differential consideration in proper clinical situations.

TABLE OF CONTENTS/OUTLINE

a. Overview of pathophysiology of pulmonary changes related to newer drugs. b. Correlating those changes in imaging with case examples
