To review indications and technique for image guided pre-operative breast lesion localization, including mammographic and sonographic guidance techniques and both standard wire localization and radioactive seed placement.

I. Review indications for wire localization II. Illustrate technique for mammographic and sonographic guidance for wire localization with detailed photographs and diagrams to include: 1. Documenting patient history and confirming appropriate indication for procedure 2. Obtaining informed consent 3. Tray set up and needle/wire demonstration 4. Positioning patient appropriately and pre-procedural imaging 5. Needle/wire placement 6. Post-procedural imaging 7. Discussion of necessary information to relay to surgeon III. Illustrate technique for mammographic and sonographic guided radioactive seed placement with detailed photographs and diagrams to include: 1. Documenting patient history and confirming appropriate indication for procedure 2. Obtaining informed consent 3. Tray set up and radioactive seed deployment device demonstration 4. Positioning patient appropriately and pre-procedural imaging 5. Seed placement 6. Post-procedural imaging 7. Discussion of necessary information to relay to surgeon 8. Discussion of management of radioactive material
