Postoperative imaging of the shoulder is challenging. In order to reduce the distance between radiologists and orthopedic surgeons it is important to know the main shoulder surgical procedures. We describe in a didactic way the techniques, indications and contraindications, normal temporal evolution and complications from the point of view of the image and from arthroscopic or surgical perspective.
