1) Discuss the evaluation of carotid plaque on ultrasound. 2) Review the Doppler parameters for grading a stenosis in the internal carotid artery. 3) Discuss pitfall in the grading of ICA stenoses using standard Doppler criteria. 4) Review the clinical significance of abnormal waveforms in the carotid arteries.
