LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) Apply common terminology used by orthopaedists to the MR Imaging evaluation of articular cartilage. 2) The important distinction between juvenile and adult forms of osteochondritis dissecans (OCD). 3) Identify the MR Imaging appearance of stable and unstable OCD lesions. 4) Apply a systematic approach to MR Imaging evaluation of lesions that have undergone a cartilage repair procedure.
