PURPOSE/AIM

To review the pathophysiology, clinical presentation and radiological findings of five abdominal vascular syndromes: Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome Nut- Cracker Syndrome May Thurner Syndrome Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome Abdominal Compartment Syndrome

CONTENT ORGANIZATION

Prequiz with images showing radiological findings of Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome, Nut- Cracker Syndrome, May Thurner Syndrome, Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome and Abdominal Compartment Syndrome. Discussion of pathophysiology and clinical presentation of the above mentioned syndromes. Review of imaging findings of the abdominal vascular syndromes.

SUMMARY

The presentation will help in: Understanding the pathophysiology of Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome, Nut- Cracker Syndrome, May Thurner Syndrome, Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome and Abdominal Compartment Syndrome. Recognizing the imaging findings of these syndromes. Correlation of clinical presentation with imaging findings.
