LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) Understand the implications of lower extremity venous imaging as it pertains to lower extremity venous therapeutic interventions. 2) Ability to apply the appropriate lower extremity venous imaging techniques to facilitate endovascular management and planning of lower extremity varicose veins, lower extremity arteriovenous anomalies, outflow obstructive lesions manifesting as lower extremity venous disease (May Thurner Syndrome) and abdominal & pelvic insufficient syndromes manifesting as lower extremity venous disease (Pelvic Congestion Syndrome/Pelvic Venous Incompetence). 3) Familiarize with current endovascular venous techniques and interventions for varicose veins, deep venous thrombosis, arteriovenous malformations, May Thurner Syndrome and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome/Pelvic Venous Incompetence.
