LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) Review the lung imaging findings in pediatric systemic diseases to better understand the physiology of lung disease. 2) Be able to recognize common CT findings that are found in non-infectious disease of the lung and therefore help direct patient evaluation and diagnosis. 3) Understand the importance of careful and thoughtful CT technique to minimize radiation exposure and still acquire diagnostic images in children who may be unable to cooperate with voluntary breath-holding.
