The purpose of this exhibit is: 1. To review the various imaging manifestations of patent fallopian tubes, and various pitfalls simulating patent fallopian tubes, following following ESSURE coil placement. 2. To gain an awareness of the importance of hysterosalpingogram (HSG) prior to discontinuing contraceptives

The major teaching points of this exhibit are: 1. The differentiation of proper and malpositioning of coils 2. The differentiation of true patent fallopian tubes from pifalls 3. The understanding of the importance of HSG following Essure coil placement before stopping contraceptive use
