Multisession Courses

Presented on November 30, 2010
Presented as part of VP32: Pediatric Radiology Series: Chest/Cardiovascular Imaging II

Participants

Laureen Marie Sena MD, Presenter: Nothing to Disclose

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) Using a case based format, chest radiographs will be presented together with CT and MR Imaging images to emphasize an overall approach to interpretation and detection of important anomalies and postoperative complications in patients with congenital heart disease. 2) Pattern recognition and differential diagnosis of radiographic appearances will be illustrated, such as when there is asymmetric size of the hemithorax due to hypoplastic lung associated with asymmetric pulmonary blood flow or edema, and contour abnormalities of the mediastinum and heart.
