PURPOSE/AIM

To demonstrate how radiologists and residents can create quizzes inside teaching files on the free online resource, MyPACS.net.  Thousands of contributors have uploaded over 30,000 teaching files to the MIRC-indexed repository, and this feature adds quiz capability to existing and new cases.

CONTENT ORGANIZATION

Users will shown step-by-step instructions on how to: 1. Create an online teaching file by upload images, drawing annotations, and adding text. 2. Using a web browser, add multiple-choice questions and answers to the various sections of the teaching file. 3. Lock a teaching file in "unknown mode", with quiz questions acting as "gates" that must be answered correctly to reveal each section of the teaching file (such as diagnosis). 4. See a report of users' performance on your quiz.

SUMMARY

After viewing this exhibit, users will be able to add quiz questions to their online teaching files, lock cases as unknowns, invite residents and colleagues to take their quizzes, and view reports on users' quiz performance.   No software is required, other than a web browser.  This free tool will help radiologists and residents more easily create, disseminate, and partake in educational materials, and share expertise with peers around the world.
