LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) To describe typical findings of common malignant liver tumors on contrast-enhanced ultrasound. 2) To understand the contribution of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the characterization of nodules in cirrhotic patients. 3) To explain the advantages and limitations of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the detection and characterization of malignant liver tumors, compared to CT or MRI.
