LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) Explore the impact of the physician with physical illness on their personal life, their practice and their patients and provide examples of interventions to help solve these issues. 2) Describe the common psychological conditions that may drive disruptive physician behavior, the associated risk factors, and the barriers that exist to reporting them. 3) Discuss the unique vulnerabilities that medical trainees experience as well as the consequences of mental illness on medical training and possible solutions for prevention and intervention.
