LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1) Identify the advantages and disadvantages of imaging articular cartilage at high field. 2) Describe the relaxation time and chemical shift changes that occur when moving from 1.5T to 3.0T. 3) Analyze current imaging protocols and changes that should be made to effectively image cartilage at 3.0T.
