SUMMARY

In patients with a functioning digestive tract who are unable to adequately protect their airway, feeding via Dobhoff tube is an effective way to provide nutrition while minimizing the risk of aspiration. Inability to intubate the duodenum under fluoroscopy may lead to endoscopic placement of the Dobhoff tube or more invasive procedures such as percutaneous gastrostomy. The authors will present a simple reliable approach to duodenal intubation with a Dobhoff tube under fluoroscopic guidance.
