LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The learning objective was to create a full featured viewing application which runs powerful on Windows based personal computers with low system ressources.

ABSTRACT

The Borland Borland Delphi and C++ based application runs on any Windows compatible operating system >=Windows 98. The application only requires very small system ressources. It offers easy and intuitive processing features for 2D, 3D and 4D imaging including multimonitor support, normal paper print, measurements, CD burning, email transmission of DICOM studies, TWAIN capture and scanning feature, a DICOM STORE SCU/SCP interface as well as support of all common DICOM storage classes. The application can be incorporated into any PACS environment. (An author of this exhibit will be available each day, Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, and Friday, 10:00 am – 12:45 pm.)
